Bonus Terms Explained
Bonus jargon can be confusing. Before claiming any promotion, make sure you understand exactly what the terms mean. Here's a plain-English breakdown of the most important ones.
Always read the T&C before claiming any bonus — the details matter more than the headline figure.
Wagering / Rollover Requirement
This is the number of times you must bet your bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings derived from it. A X10 rollover means a RM100 bonus requires RM1,000 in total bets placed. X15 means RM1,500, and X20 means RM2,000.
Example: Claim a RM200 welcome bonus with X15 rollover → you must wager RM3,000 total before requesting a withdrawal.
Maximum Bet During Bonus
Most platforms impose a per-bet cap while you have active bonus funds — typically between MYR 250 and MYR 500 per spin or round. Exceeding this limit may void your bonus and any associated winnings.
Example: If your max bet cap is RM300 and you place a RM400 slot spin using bonus funds, the operator may cancel the bonus entirely.
Game Contribution Rate
Not all games count equally towards completing your wagering requirement. Slots typically contribute 100%, while table games like baccarat or roulette may only contribute 10–20%.
Example: RM100 wagered on slots = RM100 rollover progress. RM100 wagered on baccarat = only RM10–RM20 progress.
Bonus Expiry
Bonuses are not open-ended. You'll typically have 7, 14, or 30 days to meet the wagering requirements. If time runs out, both the bonus and any derived winnings are usually forfeited.
Example: A 14-day bonus claimed on 1 June must be fully rolled over by 15 June, or it expires automatically.
Sticky vs Non-Sticky Bonus
A sticky bonus cannot be withdrawn — only the winnings you generate from it can be cashed out after rollover. A non-sticky bonus is deducted before withdrawal but is otherwise cashable once requirements are met.
Example: Sticky bonus of RM100 → after rollover, withdraw RM250 winnings but not the RM100 bonus itself.
Maximum Cash-Out (Bonus Cap)
Some bonuses cap how much you can withdraw from bonus-derived winnings, regardless of how much you actually win. This is often expressed as a multiple of the bonus amount.
Example: RM50 bonus with 5X max cash-out cap = maximum RM250 withdrawable from that promotion, even if you win RM2,000.
